Indonesian Journal of Economics, Social, and Humanities (IJESH) is a peer-reviewed academic journal of studies in the field of Economics, Social, and Humanities studies, both theories and practices published biannually in January and July by Research and Community Service Institution of Universitas Riau. Given that the journal prioritizes research reports in educational theories and practices, viewpoint articles in the field of education will also be considered for publication.

The journal welcomes author submission of original and significant contributions. Articles submitted should not have been previously published or be currently under consideration for publication any place else and should report original unpublished research results.

Publication Frequency

Starting in 2019, Indonesian Journal of Economics, Social, and Humanities publishes issue  third times a year: January, May, and September.

Peer-review Process

Indonesian Journal of Economics, Social, and Humanities received the manuscript in English. All submitted manuscripts are read by the editorial secretary. Those manuscripts evaluated by editors to be inappropriate to journal criteria are rejected promptly without external review. Manuscripts evaluated to be of potential interest to our readership are sent to peer-reviewers for the double-blind review process. The editors then make a decision based on the reviewer’s recommendation from among several possibilities: rejected, need major or minor revision, or accepted. The Editor-in-Chief of Indonesian Journal of Economics, Social, and Humanities has the right to decide which manuscripts submitted to the journal should be published.

 

 

 

Publication Ethics

For the excellent quality of the manuscript, and to avoid the fault of the publication process and plagiarism in the accepted procedure, the editorial board approved the ethics of scientific publications. The ethical rules of this publication apply to authors, editors, reviewers, and journal managers. The ethics of the publication is based on the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE). Screening for Plagiarism

The submitted manuscript would be checked for plagiarism twice using Turnitin (similarity check program) before sending it to the peer-review process and before the production process to prevent any publication fraud. We do not process and publish any plagiarised contents.

 

 

 

Open Access Policy

Indonesian Journal of Economics, Social, and Humanities provides fully open access to each published text. Which means that all articles are available on the internet to all readers immediately upon publication. Distribution in any medium is permitted, provided the author and the journal are properly credited. This policy is based on the principle that the results of work are freely available to the public and editors support the dissemination and exchange of global knowledge.

 

 

 

Digital Archiving

This journal utilizes the GARUDA by Kementerian Riset Teknologi dan Pendidikan Tinggi Republik Indonesia to create a distributed archiving system and permits those libraries to create permanent archives of the journal for purposes of preservation and restoration.
